ANZAC Day

Kia ora! What a busy few weeks we have had at Sunbeams with our tamariki. Last month we reflected on what Anzac Day means to us. We thought about ways in which we can commemorate this day respectfully but with sensitivity and age appropriate discussions. It was helpful to reference several books, written especially for young children, which leave space for adults to explain as little or as much as suits them about Gallipoli or war in general.
