Sunbeams Early Learning Centre welcomes children aged 2 to 6 years. Our learning environment is thoughtfully arranged to support different interests, abilities and stages of development while allowing children to learn alongside one another as part of a caring community.
Through meaningful play and responsive teaching, tamariki are encouraged to explore, communicate, build friendships, solve problems and develop increasing confidence and independence. Our kaiako extend early literacy, numeracy, creativity, physical development and inquiry in ways that are engaging, age-appropriate and connected to each child’s interests.
As children prepare for school, we support them to become confident communicators, curious thinkers, kind friends and capable learners. We work closely with parents and whānau to ensure every child feels safe, valued, included and ready for the next stage of their learning journey.
