Sunbeams started with one experienced teacher's idea of what a kindergarten could be: calm, beautiful, and small enough for every child to be known.
Its founders found a site in Western Springs and bought a bay villa that was already about 100 years old. They moved it onto the land, restored it for young children, and opened the doors on 13 October 2014.
To nurture, inspire and challenge children in an environment that sustains independent thinking, creativity and respect.
Sessions: Monday – Friday
Morning:
8am – 12noon
Lunch:
12noon – 1pm
Afternoon:
1pm – 4.30pm

Since then, children have learned to climb, count, share and speak up in these rooms. Many families have come back with younger brothers and sisters. We have seen so many happy kids graduate from here.
We expanded the range of services offered, taking children of all ages. Took the curriculum and the team forward. Times changed and it brought children back to our wonderful environment.
Surpreet and Ramapreet Alagh took over Sunbeams. Even though, the name has changed to Sunbeams Early Learning Centre, the things that make Sunbeams feel like Sunbeams are staying.
